Illustrated city at night under a full moon
For capital partners

Credit exposure you can trace to the register.

Sea of Green pools will fund short-duration receivables from licensed cannabis businesses, with every invoice and its repayment visible on-chain.

How pools work

Capital in, invoices funded, repayments back.

  1. 01

    Get verified

Identity, eligibility and sanctions checks come first. Pools are open only to participants who qualify where they live.

  2. 02

    Choose a pool

Pools are organized by market and product category, with the underlying invoices and scores visible before you commit.

  3. 03

    Supply liquidity

Capital in the pool funds approved invoices. Your position is recorded on-chain.

  4. 04

    Receive repayments

As retailers sell financed product, repayments and fees flow back to the pool according to its published terms.

Transparency

See what you're funding.

  • Invoice-level visibility

Every receivable in a pool traces back to a verified invoice, a licensed counterparty and its inventory score.

  • Live performance data

Repayment status updates from point-of-sale data, not monthly servicer reports.

  • Published methodology

The DRI, SDI and SEI scoring models are documented in the whitepaper so you can judge them yourself.

Risks

Know what can go wrong.

Funding receivables is not a deposit and is not insured. These are the main risks. Full disclosures will accompany any offering.

Credit risk
Retailers or brands may not repay. Losses can exceed any reserve, and you can lose some or all of your capital.
Regulatory risk
Cannabis remains federally illegal in the United States. Changes in federal or state law or enforcement could stop the platform or impair repayment.
Liquidity risk
You may not be able to exit a position when you want to, or only at a loss.
Smart contract risk
Contracts can contain bugs or be exploited despite audits. Blockchain transactions are irreversible.
Data and model risk
Scores depend on third-party POS and ERP data and on models that may be wrong or stop working in new conditions.
Concentration risk
Pools can be concentrated in a single state, product category or small number of operators.
Questions

Capital partner FAQ

Can I invest today?
No. No pool is open and we are not accepting capital. When pools open, participation will be offered only to eligible, verified participants under published terms.
What returns should I expect?
We don't publish return targets. Any pool's economics will depend on the fees and repayment performance of its receivables and will be described, with risks, in its offering terms.
How do I get information when it's available?
Email contact@seaofgreen.xyz with your name, organization and jurisdiction. We'll send materials only where we're permitted to.
